And here it is… the moment you have all been waiting for… I now present: my yearly goals list! Ok, I’m sure no one cares but me. That’s fine. This really isn’t for you, it is for me. The last few years of putting this list together have been a lot of fun. I love working toward these goals and tweaking my list throughout the year.

  1. Run an IRONMAN 70.3 event – IRONMAN 70.3 Ohio (August 21st)
  2. Run in an Abbott World Major Marathon – Chicago Marathon (October 8th)
  3. Back-to-back Marathon Weekends – Chicago Marathon and Columbus Marathon
  4. Run a RunDisney Race Challenge – Goofy Challenge, January 2017
  5. Run a sub-4 hour marathon
  6. Run a 1:45 half marathon – Close enough… 01:45:10 at Rock CF Rivers Half Marathon (March 26th)
  7. Run a sub-22 minute 5k – 21:07 – 5th Line 5k, February 5th
  8. Run in at least 3 – 5k or 4 mile races – 1st on the 1st, 5th Line 5k, ?
  9. Run in at least 3 half marathons – Emerald City (Dublin, Ohio), Disney World, Rock CF Rivers Half Marathon (Grosse Ile, Michigan)
  10. Run in at least 3 marathons – Chicago, Columbus, Disney World, Pittsburgh
  11. Run races in 2 new states – Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania
  12. Run races in at least 3 states, other than Ohio – Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania
  13. Run in a new Columbus area park – Battelle Darby Creek Park, February 26th
  14. Ride 100 miles in Pelotonia
  15. Run at least 1,000 Miles – Hit this distance on April 8th
  16. Bike at least 1,200 Miles
  17. Swim at least 30 Miles
  18. Raise $2000 for Pelotonia
  19. Maintain average weight of 185 pounds for the year
  20. Attend a Detroit Tigers game – @ Chicago White Sox (May 26th)
  21. Attend 3 concerts – Avenged Sevenfold, Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers
